Perched on a hilltop in a small village in eastern Europe, a young girl awaits the morning milking of the cow by her grandma (Baka Kata) The warm milk was then poured over the breakfast bowl of oats which Baka would sweeten with her leftover strudel mix.
Little did she know her loving addition would create my appreciation for the delicious simplicity of a handful of natural ingredients.
